Today we drive towards Brussels, making a short photo stop at the Atomium, an amazing structure built for the 1958 World Expo. While in Brussels, the Belgian and European Union capital, we take a brief walking tour of the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels, surrounded by opulent guildhalls, the city’s Town Hall and the Manneken Pis. Learn all a bout Amsterdam’s highlights and uncover secrets behind each historical building. Madurodam is a miniature park and a major tourist attraction in The ague, Netherlands. The park is located in the Scheveningen district of the city and features miniature 1:25 scale model replicas of the most famous Dutch castles, industrial projects and public buildings. Guests are treated to a trip through the history of the country and its famous buildings. Not only that, but they can also enjoy a hands-on experience while exploring the park. The park features a number of hands-on experiences that help to make Madurodam more interactive and fun for visitors of all ages. Today we drive to the Black Forest in the southwest region of Germany, known for its lush valleys and pine-clad hills. The Black Forest is certainly a beautiful place to visit. Our tour takes us to Drubba in the heart of the Black Forest to see first-hand how the Cuckoo Clocks of Hofgut Sternen are made. From there it’s a short drive into Switzerland and onto Schaffhausen to witness the stunning natural beauty of one of the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Later we continue to Zurich for an orientation tour that inclu- des sights such as Bahnhofstrasse, the Gross Munster, the Frau Munster, plus the Rathaus and St. Peter’s Church. After breakfast, we proceed to Mt. Titlis. The 45-minute ride across 2 cable cars is truly awe-inspiring. You’ll witness the scenery change from green meadows and scenic lakes to snow clad mountains. The last leg of the ride is on the famous Rotair – the world’s first revolving cable car that offers an awesome 360-degree panoramic view of the snow-covered Swiss valleys, glaciers, lakes, forests, and mountains. Weather permitting you can also enjoy an exciting ride on the ‘Ice Flyer’, where you can witness crisp, virgin snowfields and icy depths – a truly amazing glacier experience. Later, we proceed to Lucerne, a beautiful city located at the northern tip of Lake Lucerne, where you’ll see the Lion Monument called Lowendenkmal. Followed by a stroll along the banks of Lake Lucerne to attrac- tions like the Kapellbrucke (The Chapel Bridge) and the Spreuerbrucke, two traditional wooden brid- ges of Lucerne. After breakfast, enjoy a day of leisure or join us to visit Jungfraujoch, also known as the ‘Top of Europe’. It is a UNESCO natural world heritage site and stands at a height of 3,466 metres (11,371 ft) above sea level in the Bernese Alps. The Jungfrau region is the most glaciated part of the Euro- pean Alps containing Europe’s largest glacier and a range of classic gla- cial features. It provides an outstanding record of the geological proces- ses that formed the High Alps. Tourists are often amazed at the scenic splendour they witness from the Cog-Wheel train that climbs up to a height of 11,333 feet to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in the world. The Cog-Wheel train is one of the most incredible train jour- neys in the world. The views of Switzerland from the top are simply brea-thtaking. Later we drive to one of the loveliest Alpine regions of Switzerland, Interlaken in the Berne-se Oberland, in a unique setting between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. This morning we visit the beautiful city of Vaduz in the landlocked alpine country of Liechtenstein – the 6th smallest country in the world and the richest German speaking country. We continue to the Tyrol capital and picturesque Innsbruck, nestled in the gorgeous deep valley of the River Inn. Today we head to the most romantic city in Italy, known for its famous gondola rides and its amazing architecture. That’s right, Venice! Known as the Queen of the Adriatic, Venice is built on 180 islands that are con- nected by over 400 bridges, with hundreds of canals criss-crossing the town. We take a boat ride to reach Venice Island enjoying the scenic view as we pass the famous bridge of Sighs and the Basilica di San Marco and head to St Mark’s Square, to look in awe at the Bridge of Sighs, the Ducale Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Clock tower.
